Ahh, the Moonstalker heading it up is handy, I recon it works just aswell as a CD. My first ever PvP kill was in a Humpback (6xDebs, Twin Lancers, and a Ripper Mine), and my War Drom had by far my best PvP stats.
I do agree with the starflea setup, great fun for harassing Eagles. I like to pop on a ripper mine though, for an added sting in the tail ;D Call me lazy...
Sweet Chilleh Philleh and Spicy Chicken Flicken made an awesome pair in their Valks though, especially in the icefields of the Holy Land.

how many of the deb turrets fire forwards on the humpback?
I remember a fighting trader competition where you had to come in some form of trader, winner take 1mil. Everyone was in droms except Crazy Monkey who was in a humpback, guess who won? I've always wondered if they were better fighters after that

I think 5, if your looking forward+down. Otherwise 3. The best position for a humpy is really anywhere underneath, or rear-downward. Slugging it out guns-only a humpback has it over a drom hands-down, or if you get caught in close quarters combat. But if you can take advantage of the Droms maneuverability , keep your distance from the humpy and strike in your own time.
It's when your fighting VHF's that the Drom has a real advantage. The humpback you have to be really lucky to get a kill, the lack of any maneuverability means you can't dodge or line up a shot, the increased strength & firepower don't make up for that. If it looks like a humpback, sounds like a humpback, and flies like a humpback, then it probably is a duck. The drom isn't the most maneuverable ship in the fleet, but compared to the other freighters it'll dance like a butterfly, you atleast have a chance to dodge or to line up a shot, and the turrets give you a pretty good arc of fire on a passing Eagle.
Homing missiles might be worth a shot on the humpy, you'd loose the one-shot-kill of the twin lancers, but better tracking might compensate for a poor angle of attack, and you can drop them at twice the rate of course. Be interesting to see how you'd go getting cd'd with twin sunstalkers on there.
